On January 26, 2022, We held the “JE-ISAC Hands-on Exercise".

We conducted a practical log analysis exercise for SIRT / SOC members, for improving the incident response capability of JE-ISAC members.

About 70 people from 18 JE-ISAC member companies participated in the exercise. In view of the impact of COVID-19, We held it online using web conferencing systems so that we could collaborate with teleworkers.

Participants analyzed system logs based on the information that JE- ISAC Secretariat provided as a clue for incident investigation. Then participants made presentations and discussions to share ideas and know-how and gain new awareness.

We tried for the first time hands-on exercises for SIRT / SOC members, participants evaluated that they learned about incident response procedures and ways of thinking, and expected it to be held continuously.
