Japan Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center ("Center") fully recognizes the importance of protecting personal information, complies with laws, regulations and other standards, and strives to appropriately handle personal information in the following manner.
- 1. Compliance with Laws, Regulations and Standards
- The Center complies with laws, regulations and other standards related to the protection of personal information.
- 2. Purpose of Use
- The Center specifies the purposes for which personal information is to be used, and, with the exception of cases prescribed in applicable laws, regulations and other such provisions, uses such personal information within the scope related to the Center’s activities.
- 3. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information
- The Center employs lawful and fair means to acquire personal information and uses the information appropriately within the scope specified by the purpose of such use.
- 4. Management of Personal Information
- The Center has adopted the necessary measures for safe management of personal information and appropriately manages the information to prevent any such disclosure, loss, damage, unauthorized access or other such abuse.
- 5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
- The Center does not provide any personal information to third parties with the exception of cases where the principle has given his or her consent or cases pursuant to laws, regulations or other such prescriptions.
- 6. Disclosure, Correction, etc. of Personal Information
- When a request is presented for disclosure, correction, deletion or suspension of use of personal information that the Center has acquired, the Center shall first confirm that the request is from the principle, and then promptly comply with the request in accordance with laws and regulations.
- 7. Improvement and Enhancement of the Protection of Personal Information
- The Center shall conduct timely and appropriate reviews of the management of personal information protection, and strive to improve and enhance such management.
