Working Group Activities in FY2018

On July 11, 2018, we held the 1st Risk Assessment WG as one of the WG activities in FY 2018. In this WG, we aim to deepen our understanding of risk assessment and implement it more effectively by using various methods developed and proposed so far in guidelines as teaching materials.

We invited a lecturer from the Cabinet Cyber Security Center (NISC) and explained the "Risk Assessment Handbook Based on the Concept of Functional Guarantee in Important Infrastructure" to this WG. About 70 people participated, and enthusiastically asked questions and concerns in implementing risk assessment.

We plan to advance the following WG activities this fiscal year in order to improve the efforts of each company's cyber security.

Risk Assessment WG In order to understand the outline and features of various risk assessment methods and to effectively implement them at each company, exchange opinions for resolving issues along with sharing issues.
Smart Meter System WG With respect to the smart meter system, when serious vulnerabilities, security accidents, and events occur, exchange information among stakeholders as necessary.
