It has been five years since JE-ISAC was established in Mar 2017.
Recent years, cyber attacks on important infrastructure such as electricity, gas, oil, and water have caused disruption of social activities and damage to human lives in many countries. Even in Japan, many companies and organizations have been seriously damaged by cyber attacks.
Cyber threats are increasing day by day, therefore activities of JE-ISAC are becoming important.
In order to respond to cyber threats, our JE-ISAC collects and analyzes cyber security information and shares it among members. We also share cyber security measures through working group activities, and the results of those activities are utilized by each member.
In 2020, we formulated a medium-term action plan consisting of "strengthening incident response capabilities“, “advancing information collection and analysis“, and "strengthening cooperation with other organizations“. We are currently working to accomplish it.
Our JE-ISAC will continue to promote cyber security in the spirit of trust and mutual aid. And we want to contribute to the stable supply of electricity.
